Hi!
I thought this might be a good time to write and say hi, and wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. Why? You might ask, is Jaime emailing me with this. Love, you see, is one of the greatest drivers of motivation to get up and do something to keep our cities beautiful. And this being February and all, I’d like to share the latest piece I wrote for Proud Places.
Love themed, of course, focusing on why is it that Paris is the city of love and what of what they have we can replicate in our cities and towns.
turns out it’s not unlimited budgets nor the right leaders who can take us there. It’s the small places that let us meet and exchange glances, ideas and purpose.
Deep within the grandiosity, well beyond the beauty and much in line with places that feel familiar, Paris is for lovers because it is a gigantic collection of small, intimate, cozy spaces that create sweet, unforgettable memories.
We all need to love our cities more, hopefully as much as we love beautiful, faraway ones like Paris or Amsterdam. We can start by exploring to find small places that make us happy, and make them the center of how we experience our towns.
read the rest of Cupid Likes It Small here, and let me know what you think. And if you have some extra time, I’d love it you checked out my website storefrontmastery.com and see if the things I’m up to can add some value to yours.
Until next time!
Jaime
